Recognition for the City of Greenville
2011
The Solid Waste Department received several grants to be used during the fiscal year. These grants will greatly assist the recycling program to increase awareness, participation and convenience. The grants include: DHEC Solid Waste Grant ($5,000.00), DHEC Waste Tire Grant ($4,000.00), Keep America Beautiful Lend-A- Bin Grant (20 recycling containers) and Palmetto Pride Grant ($4,000.00).
