Cleveland Park Master Plan

Project Summary

Provide a guide for future improvement and funding decisions with planning recommendations for Cleveland Park, including improvement of traffic circulation within the park, ensuring adequate vehicular parking for visitors, stormwater management and opportunities for amenity improvements and recreation programming.

The City has hired MKSK, a Greenville-based landscape architecture, urban design and planning firm, to lead the Cleveland Park Master Plan project. The City held an open house-style meeting on October 9, 2018, providing the public the opportunity to meet the consultant team and discuss all things Cleveland Park. More than 100 residents attended, providing valuable insights into their park needs.

Project Status

MKSK has developed three master plan concepts and recently presented them to members of the Citizens Advisory Committee for their review and feedback. The City has scheduled a community meeting to share the master plan concepts and solicit feedback from the public. MKSK will then create the final Cleveland Park Master Plan document based on input received at the meeting.
