CLEVELAND PARK

Considered by many to be Greenville's "City Park," this large and diverse space was created in 1922 when the Cleveland family donated 122 acres of land along the Reedy River.

The park features tennis courts, a volleyball court, a softball field, playground areas, a fitness trail equipped with workout stations, Eagle and Troop 19 Trails, and both small-group and large-group picnic shelters. In addition, Cleveland Park is the site of the Rock Quarry Garden, the Fernwood Nature Trail, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and the Greenville Zoo.

Cleveland Park is home to a large playground, popular among families living in and visiting the city.
Runners utilize the Swamp Rabbit Trail's beautiful route through Cleveland Park.
A memorial to Air Force pilot Rudolf Anderson Jr., the only casualty in the Cuban Missile Crisis, is located in Cleveland Park.
All-weather fitness equipment can be found in the park.
