The City continues to look for creative ways to support small businesses that are under financial pressure due to COVID-19. A recent statewide survey showed that access to financial resources is one of the top challenges for businesses looking to reopen or fully restore operations.
As a result, the City has launched a new program to support small businesses with a one-time micro-grant to help overcome the loss of revenue and assist with recovery efforts. The grants are available for a variety of small businesses, including:
- Restaurants and bars
- Hotels and motels
- Retail
- Personal services
The City will award 250 micro-grants of $1,000. Businesses must submit an application for consideration and grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
