One of Greenville’s greatest attractions is its system of city parks. The goal of the City Parks and Recreation department is to ensure that Greenville’s parks remain attractive and inviting for public use. The department oversees 39 city parks occupying more than 700 acres of land within the city. In managing Greenville’s parks, our staff provides a variety of appealing programs and activities for our residents and visitors.

Events Postponed on Public Property Through May 10
Following new guidelines released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to halt gatherings of 50 or more people, and a White House advisory to avoid groups of more than ten, all City permitted events scheduled through May 10 will be postponed.
