Submitting An Event to the Community Calendar


All submissions will be reviewed before posting to the city's Community Calendar. The city has the discretion to determine which public events will be included in the calendar. The events should provide entertainment, food or other attractions to a diverse population, and promote the economic benefits of tourism or enhance the quality of life of the community. All events must be open to the general public (for free or cost), located within the City of Greenville and organized for non-profit purposes.

Pettigru Street, between Boyce Avenue and Carolina Drive

Pettigru Street, between Boyce Avenue and Carolina Drive, will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. August 8 – 11. The purpose of the closure is to allow the City’s Public Works crews to repair a sewer main in front of 507 Pettigru. The repair will be made using heavy equipment, including dump trucks and an excavator. Access to properties within the closure will be maintained but through traffic will be routed around the closure.
