Submitting An Event to the Community Calendar


All submissions will be reviewed before posting to the city's Community Calendar. The city has the discretion to determine which public events will be included in the calendar. The events should provide entertainment, food or other attractions to a diverse population, and promote the economic benefits of tourism or enhance the quality of life of the community. All events must be open to the general public (for free or cost), located within the City of Greenville and organized for non-profit purposes.

Lane Closures: Birnie and Markley Streets

Duke Power will be upgrading overhead power lines and poles nearing their send of service life, along Bernie and Markley Streets in downtown Greenville.

Lane closures will be needed. The work will begin at the intersection of Bernie Street and North Calhoun Street, and then continue down Markley Street to the intersection of Rhett Street. All roads will remain open during construction; traffic may be controlled by flag crews.

The project will continue to late summer.
