Submitting An Event to the Community Calendar

All submissions will be reviewed before posting to the city's Community Calendar. The city has the discretion to determine which public events will be included in the calendar. The events should provide entertainment, food or other attractions to a diverse population, and promote the economic benefits of tourism or enhance the quality of life of the community. All events must be open to the general public (for free or cost), located within the City of Greenville and organized for non-profit purposes.

Spoleto Preview- Lisa Kiser, Piano, Cecilia Kang & Kyra Zhang, Clarinet

Born out of friendship, passion for chamber music, & the vibrant musical community of Greenville, SC, Ensemble 864 champions eclectic repertoire of the old & new. Clarinetist Cecilia Kang, faculty at Furman University, while clarinetist Kyra Zhang, faculty at the SC Governor’s School for the Arts & Humanities & pianist Lisa Kiser, faculty at Anderson University. For those of you heading to Charleston for Spoleto you may see Ensemble 864 in performance on May 30. Pianist Lisa Kiser and her husband, David, will be featured in the Le Organo Series, a piano and organ duo, at the Festival on June 7. Members of the ensemble have performed in festivals in the United States, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Hong Kong, China, & South Korea. With only 80 seats available, we urge everyone to make their reservations early. $15 adults, $5 students. Call 520-8807 to make your reservations.
