City Seeks Public Involvement with Planning Process

With multiple public engagement events/opportunities taking place next week, below is a list and description of each:

South Downtown Charrette

The City has hired Urban Design Associates, the firm that developed the Downtown Master Plan, to study the area between Augusta Street and Church Street, with a focus on street and trail networks, street character and circulation patterns, public spaces and transitions between mixed-use properties and single-family residences.

GVL2040 Open House

The City is also holding an open house for GVL2040, its comprehensive planning initiative. Attendees will have an opportunity to talk with the project consultants, City staff and members of the GVL2040 citizen steering committee to share their thoughts on issues such as transportation and affordable housing and learn about trends that have been shaping Greenville.
