Try Transit Month
Try Transit Month is part of an ongoing initiative to educate Greenville County residents about the economic and environmental benefits of public transit and encourage citizens who don't typically use public transportation to ride Greenlink. Greenlink celebrates Try Transit Month each October. See below for this year's line-up of events and activties!
Virtual Story Time with a Bus Driver
Grab the kids and gather around your favorite digital device for our “Story Time with a Bus Driver” series! The videos will available at ridegreenlink.com and feature Greenlink bus drivers reading children’s books about buses and transportation. The webpage will be updated with more videos throughout the month, so check back often.
Kindness Rocks Scavenger Hunt
The Kindness Rocks Project is an international movement that encourages people to decorate rocks with inspirational messages and leave them in random public places for people to find. Greenlink bus drivers and staff have joined the movement, creating and hiding their own rocks at Greenlink bus stops.
Throughout the month of October, Greenlink customers who spot the rocks are encouraged to share pictures on Twitter, tag @RideGreenlink, and use #GreenlinkRocks in the Twitter post to be entered into a drawing for a free 31-Day Unlimited Ride Pass! Tweets must be posted by October 31 to be entered into the drawing.
