Event Canceled Due to Weather

What Happens When Weather Strikes?

We've been lucky to have great weather this season, but as last Thursday proves, that's not always the case. While it makes us sad to cancel an event, the safety of our patrons and staff is our highest priority.

When weather strikes, please note the following:

  • We always wait until as close to noon as possible to make a call; however, weather has a mind of its own, so cancellation times could be anytime leading up to the event.
  • In the event of a cancellation, we will notify you via all our social media channels using the graphic shown here.
  • You can also register for alerts to be notified of weather cancellations by choosing "Special Events Alerts" from the Alert Center menu.
Unfortunately, sometimes the decision to cancel is based on an inaccurate forecast. While this is not ideal, due to the equipment and manpower needed to put on our events, we cannot risk continuing the event in most cases.

We appreciate everyone's understanding and promise to be as diligent as possible when handling weather situations.

Upcoming Events
