The Upstate’s largest STEAM festival is back with a brand new location, plus new exhibits and shows!

The 5th annual iMAGINE Upstate festival, fueled by ScanSource, will bring over 80 interactive exhibits and shows emphasizing science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) to downtown Greenville on Saturday, April 6 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This year's new event site will be Main Street, from Court Street to Augusta Street.

The festival is designed to ignite pre-K through 12th grade students' interest in STEAM subjects with opportunities to engage in hands-on learning experiences and exposure to the latest technology and high-skill industries.

iMAGINE Upstate features a wide variety of interactive shows and experience areas, including:

ScanSource’s STEAM-Fari
Fluor CREATE Experience with FIRST Robotics
The Bosch Experience powered by Mind Trekkers
Zip with AJ! Duke Energy and Piedmont Natural Gas LEARN Experience with AJ Whittenberg Elementary
BMW Group ENGAGE & PLAY space with The Children’s Museum of the Upstate

This year’s festival will also bring back favorites such as high-speed drone racing, robotics competitions and extreme science shows!

The event is free to the public and Greenlink will offer shuttle service during the festival. Festival-goers can park for free at Greenville County Square and ride the trolley to and from the festival site.
