Submitting An Event to the Community Calendar


All submissions will be reviewed before posting to the city's Community Calendar. The city has the discretion to determine which public events will be included in the calendar. The events should provide entertainment, food or other attractions to a diverse population, and promote the economic benefits of tourism or enhance the quality of life of the community. All events must be open to the general public (for free or cost), located within the City of Greenville and organized for non-profit purposes.

E-Waste Recycling & Shredding Event

The City and Keep Greenville County Beautiful will co-host the next Electronic Waste Recycling and Shredding Day on Saturday, April 24. At this free event, citizens can dispose of unwanted electronics and shred paper documents. There is a limit of three (3) bags(gr ocery bag size) or three (3) file-size boxes no larger than (15" x 12" x 10"). Shredding trucks will be onsite until noon, or until all three shredding trucks are full. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the following safety precautions will be enforced: Masks are required for anyone unloading materials for recycling Employees will not be able to unload cars; residents should be prepared to unload their own materials City residents and businesses can drop off the items listed below for free during this special event.
